Ernie’s Christmas Song for Kids
After writing the book, someone joked that I should write a Christmas song for Ernie the Elf and the Special Gift since all the great Christmas stories have songs.
The more I thought about it the more I thought I have to write a Christmas song for Ernie. So after staring at the cover of the book for a few minutes, the phrase “Hurry, Hurry, Hurry,” popped into my head and soon I was writing my first Christmas songs. With a the lyrics in hand and a melody in my head, I presented my idea to a friend who was able to turn my idea into a fun and joyous Christmas song.
Soon after it was complete, I took to the task of creating my first Christmas music video! I don’t know if my Ernie the Elf and the Special Gift Christmas song will ever be a Christmas classical like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer or Frosty the Snowman, but only time will tell.
